APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, made this declaration when he received defectors from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), led by Senator Kawu Ismaila, representing Kano South.
Ganduje also confirmed that more governors from opposition parties are expected to join APC soon, following the recent defection of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori. The APC chairman emphasized the party’s belief in President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms and Renewed Hope Agenda.
The defectors from NNPP include several prominent politicians from Kano State, such as Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurmum, Hon. Abdullahi Sani Rogo, and Dr. A B. Baffa Bichi, among others. Senator Kawu, who led the delegation, stated that the defection represents the coming together of like-minded individuals.
