Jude Okoye was accused of laundering N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. The prosecution alleged that he fraudulently converted funds meant for his brothers’ music royalties for personal use. The allegations include diverting $767,544.15, £34,537.59, $133,566.49, and $118,652.20, deliberately depriving Peter of his rightful earnings.

Jude’s release comes after being detained for over two months. Paul Okoye celebrated his brother’s freedom and birthday, sharing videos of Jude leaving the prison and reuniting with his family. The strained business relationship between Jude and his brothers was highlighted during a recent court sitting, where Peter recounted the challenges they faced.
