Adeola and the victim rented a service apartment in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos on March 27, 2025. After administering the poisoned drink, Adeola left the apartment with the victim’s car and personal belongings. The victim’s lifeless body was discovered hours later, and an empty syringe, empty cans of malt drink, and bottles of water were found at the scene.
The police apprehended Adeola on April 26, 2025, and she confessed to the crime. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, has reiterated the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and warned that anyone involved in criminal activities will be brought to justice.
