President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to return to Abuja on Sunday, following his official visit to China and a brief stay in the United Kingdom. The President had departed Abuja on August 29, making a stop in Dubai before arriving in Beijing on September 1 for high-level meetings with Chinese leaders, including President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.
The visit yielded the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between Nigeria and China, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields. President Tinubu’s return marks the end of his successful overseas trip, which sought to bolster Nigeria’s international partnerships and interests.
