The new team members include Ayo Adewuyi, who’s been reappointed as Executive Director of News, and Bar. Ibrahim Aliyu, who’ll oversee Special Duties. Other appointees are Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha, Executive Director of Administration and Training; Mrs. Apinke Effiong, Executive Director of Finance; Mrs. Tari Taylaur, Executive Director of Programmes; Mr. Sadique Musa Omeiza, Executive Director of Engineering; and Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina, Executive Director of Marketing.

These individuals bring impressive credentials to the table. For instance, Mrs. Effiong has extensive experience in financial marketing, treasury management, and accounting, while Mrs. Taylaur is a seasoned audio/visual creator and producer. Mrs. Fashina is a chartered marketer with expertise in integrated marketing communications.

This shake-up is part of Tinubu’s broader efforts to transform Nigeria’s economy and governance. He’s been making waves since taking office in May 2023, with policies aimed at liberalizing the economy and promoting private sector growth . The NTA appointments are expected to inject fresh ideas and expertise into the broadcast sector, driving growth and development .
