    Nigerian actress Ramota Adetu, popularly known as Aunty Ramota, has shared her financial struggles and current living situation in a viral video. She revealed that she’s currently homeless after being asked to vacate her previous accommodation when the woman she lived with got married and her husband became uncomfortable with her presence.

    Aunty Ramota’s plans to move into her own home were stalled due to the project being halted by the individual helping her, citing personal challenges. To make matters worse, she accused her management team of mismanaging her finances, stealing her earnings, and deleting her social media accounts.

    In the video, Aunty Ramota expressed her frustration: “I worked tirelessly, but they cheated me, thinking I wouldn’t know our true earnings. Now, I can’t even afford rent.” Despite receiving an offer to rent a space, she’s determined to complete building her own home, even if it’s just one room, to have a place to call her own.

    Aunty Ramota is renowned for her comedic roles in Yoruba films, including Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
