President Bola Tinubu has launched the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund, recognizing the military’s vital role in protecting Nigeria’s unity, stability, and progress. At the launch ceremony, Tinubu commended the armed forces for their commitment to combating threats to national security, emphasizing that peace and development cannot be achieved without security.

The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is commemorated annually on January 15 to honor fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting Nigeria and its citizens. This year’s event will mark the second edition under President Tinubu’s administration.
