The Anambra Police Command is seeking help from communities to end the Monday sit-at-home order initiated by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Commissioner of Police Nnaghe Itam made this call during a visit to Njikoka Local Government Area, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to improve safety and security .
He noted that the sit-at-home order has restricted movement, crippled businesses, and caused havoc in the state. Itam urged residents to work with the police and other security agencies to take back their space and deny criminal elements the opportunity to cause tension.
