By reviving the textile industry, Nigeria hopes to regain its position as a major player in the global cotton market and create economic opportunities for its citizens. The federal government has shown commitment to this goal, with Vice President Kashim Shettima urging stakeholders to develop a roadmap for the revitalization of the cotton/textile sector ¹.
