•⁠ ⁠Strengthening Bilateral Ties: President Bola Tinubu will receive PM Modi at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, aiming to strengthen Nigeria’s and India’s ties through bilateral discussions.
•⁠ ⁠Memoranda of Understanding: The two leaders will exchange signed Memoranda of Understanding to enhance collaboration in critical sectors.
•⁠ ⁠Indian Investment in Nigeria: Over 200 Indian companies have invested over $27 billion in Nigeria, making them the second-largest employers after the Nigerian government.
•⁠ ⁠Cultural Exchange: The visit also highlights the cultural relationship between the two countries, with over 5,000 Nigerians studying in India and regular exchanges of troops and people-to-people contact .

PM Modi’s visit is part of his three-nation tour, which also includes Brazil and Guyana. This visit is expected to bolster India’s ties with Nigeria and the African continent, promoting cooperation on global issues.
