Ekpa, a Finnish-based secessionist, was arrested by Finnish law enforcement on November 21 for spreading terrorist propaganda on social media. A district court in Päijät-Häme subsequently sent him to prison.
The extradition process is now underway, with the Nigerian government providing the necessary documentation to the Finnish authorities.
