In a bold move to maintain cleanliness and safety in the state, the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has taken decisive action against hoodlums who defecated on the Ile Epo Pedestrian Bridge in Abule Egba. Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab announced on (link unavailable) that the offenders were arrested and tasked with cleaning the bridge and removing all waste to restore it to a hygienic condition.
The commissioner also revealed that the Lagos State Environmental Task Force raided hotspots in Ikeja, arresting 27 suspects who had turned these areas into safe havens for criminal activities. The areas raided included black spots around Ayinke House, Ikeja, under the bridge, and around Ambiance Hotel.
