A disturbing incident has been reported in Umugbabe Ovoko, a community in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State. A female tenant allegedly attacked her landlord with a pestle after he asked her to vacate the premises.
According to Enugu media personality, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, who shared the details on Facebook, the landlord, an orphan, had allowed the woman and her two children to live with him in the big house. However, when he asked her to pack out, she allegedly responded with violence, striking him on the head with a pestle.
The woman and her two children are currently in police custody at Ibagwa police station. Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
