The APC has kicked off the screening process for aspirants in the upcoming Anambra governorship election. The exercise, which commenced on Friday evening, is being conducted by a seven-member committee headed by former Governor Ibrahim Shema.
The seven aspirants vying for the APC ticket are Hon. Chukwuma Michael Umeoji, Prof. Obiora Francis Okonkwo, Nicholas Chukwujeku Ukachukwu, Sir Paul Chukwuma, Onunkwo JohnBosco Obinna, Valentine Ozigbo, and Edozie Madu.
APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, tasked the Shema panel to be fair and prevent litigation. Sir Paul Chukwuma, one of the aspirants and former APC National Auditor, expressed confidence in his candidacy, stating that he is the best candidate to fly the party’s flag.
