A 48-year-old man, Mallam Adamu Ibrahim Umaru, has been remanded in prison custody by a Magistrate Court in Calabar for allegedly raping and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter. The incident occurred at the respondent’s residence, No. 27 Edem Odo Street, Calabar.
The Police Prosecutor, O. S Umoren, filed an experte motion, which was granted by Chief Magistrate Mercy Ene, leading to Umaru’s remand in prison custody until the completion of the investigation.
