    A clash between two rival cult groups in Bayelsa State, Nigeria has resulted in the death of one young man, Frank aka Akiman. The incident occurred in the Amarata suburb of Yenagoa, the state capital, when Frank was trailed and shot dead by a group of gun-wielding youths from a rival cult group.

    The killers, reportedly over six in number, shot Frank in the arm and then pursued him, eventually shooting him in the head with a revolver pistol. The incident caused widespread panic, with residents fleeing for their lives and abandoning their wares and shops.

    Although the police later arrived to evacuate Frank’s body, the situation escalated further when the slain youth’s cult group embarked on an apparent revenge mission, armed with guns, cutlasses, and other dangerous items.

    This latest incident may be connected to recent clashes between rival cults in Igbogene, which have claimed over five lives. The Bayelsa State Police Command has yet to comment on the incident.
