Nigerian singer-songwriter Ayra Starr, and South African artiste Tyla are leading the African nominees at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) with four nominations each.
The full nominees list was released by the organizers , Paramount International Network.
Ayra Starr is up for Best African Act, Best Push, Best Afrobeats, and Best New Artist, while Tyla secured nods in Best African Act, Best R&B, Best New, and Best Afrobeats categories .
