Cholera Outbreak Hits Adamawa Four Dead, 36 Hospitalized

A cholera outbreak in Adamawa State’s Yola-North Local Government Area has claimed four lives and affected 40 others, with the majority receiving treatment in nearby hospitals ¹. Chairman Jibrin Ibrahim confirmed the outbreak, attributing it to contaminated water from flooding in Alkalawa, Ajiya, and Limawa wards. He praised health workers, the Red Cross, and international partners for their swift response.
