The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has accepted Libya’s appeal after CAF penalized them with a deduction of 3 points and 3 goals for the maltreatment of Nigeria’s Super Eagles players.
- The final round of the qualifier is set to proceed on Monday, but the CAS decision could alter the outcome if it favors Libya.
- CAS has indicated that the hearing will take place at the end of November.
- Currently, the Super Eagles lead the group with 11 points, followed by Benin with 7 points, while Rwanda and Libya sit in 3rd and 4th positions, respectively.
