Eight Nigerians Arrested in Philippines for Kidnapping and Fraud

  • Three additional Nigerians arrested in Las Piñas City for extortion and scamming

Philippine authorities have cracked down on Nigerian nationals involved in criminal activities. Five Nigerians were arrested in Angeles City for allegedly kidnapping Kingsley Ikeagwuana, while three others were apprehended in Las Piñas City for extortion and scamming.

The suspects in Angeles City, identified as Evans Chinemerem, David Ibegbulamo, Nwokeke Ihechukwu, Nwokeke Chinemmerem, and Okonkwo Kosiso, will face criminal charges. Police recovered firearms and ammunition from the suspects.

In a separate incident, Ugochukwu Osuagwu, Chinonso Omeje, and Benjamin Onu were arrested for using a local woman’s accounts as “money mules” for scamming activities.
