The founder of Eeze Conceptz Limited, Mr. Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, has denied allegations made by popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, accusing him of stealing $345,000 from her. Onyedikachukwu’s lawyer, Mr. Maxwell Opara, stated that the allegations were untrue and baseless.

According to Opara, Onyedikachukwu was not Chinwo’s manager, but rather her producer who discovered her talent in 2017 and promoted her to the limelight in the gospel music industry. The lawyer claimed that Chinwo reneged on her record label and management contract with Eeze Conceptz Limited, which was signed for a five-year term beginning from 2017 to 2022.

Opara also alleged that Chinwo presented false information to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Onyedikachukwu, which led to his arrest. The lawyer stated that they have commenced procedures to have the arrest warrant order set aside or vacated, and are confident that the court will do what is right and just once the facts and evidence are presented.

Onyedikachukwu’s lawyer urged the public to disregard the “smear publication and campaign” coordinated by Chinwo against his client, and to wait for the truth to be revealed in court.
