Kemi Elebute-Halle, a former governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Ekiti State, has officially defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) along with her supporters.

Elebute-Halle and her supporters were received by APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, at the party secretariat in Abuja on Thursday. The former ADP Deputy National Chairman cited President Bola Tinubu’s administration reforms as a key reason for joining the APC, expressing optimism that these reforms will ultimately benefit the country.
Role of Ekiti Governor
Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji played a crucial role in convincing Elebute-Halle to join the APC. She praised Oyebanji’s efforts, stating that his intervention helped seal her decision to defect.
