The Federal Government is taking measures to reduce fuel prices in an effort to provide relief to Nigerians facing the burden of rising fuel costs. Petroleum marketers have confirmed a scheduled meeting with the Department of State Services (DSS) on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, to discuss the pricing and availability of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol). Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi Shettima, President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, shared this information during an interview with Daily Post, stating, “Wednesday I have a meeting with the Department of State Services.”
