Former President Trump Attributes Recent Assassination Attempt to Biden and Harris’s Rhetoric
Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has attributed the recent attempt on his life to the rhetoric employed by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. This assertion comes after a suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested and charged with illegal firearms possession following an incident at Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Trump, in a statement to Fox News Digital, claimed that the rhetoric used by Biden and Harris, which portrays him as a threat to democracy, has created an environment that encourages violence against him. He emphasized that he is the target of such attacks despite being the one who aims to save the country.
This incident marks the second apparent attempt on Trump’s life in recent months, following a previous attack in Pennsylvania that resulted in the death of a supporter. The FBI is currently investigating the latest incident as an attempted assassination.
