Governor Abdulrazaq Swears in Six New Judges, Announces Plans for Court Complex in Kwara


Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has sworn in six new judges for the state high court, urging them to discharge their duties with diligence, impartiality, and a commitment to national security. The new judges are Ibijoke Olabisi Olawoyin, Fatimah Funsho Abdulrasaq, Oluwatosin Adenike Adeniyi, Yusuf Diko Adebayo, Olalekan Osuolale Ajayi, and Muritala Folohunsho.

The Governor congratulated the judges on their appointment and expressed confidence in their ability to administer justice for all. He noted that this is the first time six judges have been sworn in at the same time in the state, bringing the total number of high court judges appointed during his tenure to eleven.

Governor Abdulrazaq also announced plans to build a new court complex in the state, following the renovation and remodeling of several courts. He presented new SUVs to the new judges and commended the judiciary, legislature, and security agencies for their collaborative approach to developing Kwara State.
