According to Hassan Ya’u, a villager who escaped the attack, the gunmen arrived on motorcycles around 1:30 a.m. and kidnapped residents from different houses. Ya’u’s younger sister was among those abducted, and he appealed to the federal and Zamfara state governments to send more soldiers and security personnel to fight the bandits.
