          Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reunited 76 minors arrested during the #Endbadgovernance protest with their parents. The minors underwent rehabilitation for over a week at the Muhammadu Buhari Specialist hospital in Kano after their release from detention in Abuja .

          During the reunion, Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of education, stating that the state government has given priority to the education sector, allocating 31% of its budget to education. He also warned that the government would not condone any form of violent protest .

          The leader of the team of lawyers, Hamza Nuhu, reminded the teenagers that protest is not a crime, but it becomes a crime when it involves disruption. He encouraged them to embrace peace building .

          One of the minors, Abba Usman, claimed that they were wrongly arrested, as none of them were found with any incriminating evidence . A parent, Nura Ahmad, thanked the federal and state governments, as well as other stakeholders, for their role in securing the release, rehabilitation, and reunion of the children with their parents .
