This initiative is set to be unveiled to the public and stakeholders on Friday at Alausa, Ikeja, as announced by Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi.

This move is part of the government’s efforts to overhaul the transport system in Lagos, which has been known to be challenging. With over 22 million residents and a vast number of vehicles on the road, it’s crucial to have a system in place that ensures safety and efficiency .

The digitization system will likely build on existing initiatives, such as the Lagos Urban Transport Project, which has already made significant strides in improving public transportation . By leveraging technology and data analysis, the government can identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions to enhance the overall transportation experience.
