Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has urged the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to implement the recommendations of the party’s reconciliation committee. Makinde made this call at the PDP National Reconciliation Committee’s press briefing in Ibadan, where he was represented by Deputy Governor Bayo Lawal.
Makinde emphasized the importance of unity and collective efforts within the party to achieve the committee’s aim, praising the committee members for their sacrifices to the party’s progress. He stressed that implementing the committee’s recommendations is crucial to moving forward, urging the National Working Committee (NWC), Board of Trustees, and party elders to ensure the outcome is duly implemented.
The reconciliation committee, led by former Osun State Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, completed its assignment in the South-West zone, receiving recommendations from six states.
