The seized products included banned psychoactive drugs, unapproved medicines like tramadol, and counterfeit substances that could destabilize an entire country. NAFDAC emphasized that fake medicines lead to treatment failures, causing preventable deaths and severe economic losses, especially for vulnerable patients .
