NDLEA Arrests Drug Trafficking Suspect at Kano Airport

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended a 38-year-old suspect, Okafor Anthony, at Mallam Aminu International Airport, Kano, while attempting to board a flight to Iran. Anthony was found to have ingested 76 wraps of cocaine, weighing 1.267kg.

Additionally, NDLEA officers made significant seizures in Kogi and Niger states, intercepting 700,000 pills of exol-5 and arresting a suspect with 49,000 tablets of tramadol, among other substances.

In Rivers state, 451 blocks of cannabis, weighing 213kg, were seized, and a suspect was apprehended.

These arrests demonstrate NDLEA’s continued efforts to combat drug trafficking and distribution in Nigeria.
