Nigerian Army Announces Major Leadership Reshuffle

The Nigerian Army has announced new appointments for General Officers Commanding (GOCs), Principal Staff Officers (PSOs), Corps Commanders, and other senior officers to enhance operational effectiveness and administrative efficiency.

New Appointments:

Major General OT Olatoye: Appointed GOC 82 Division/Commander JTF OPUK
Maj Gen EF Oyinlola: Appointed GOC 3 Division/Commander Operation Safe Haven (OPSH)
Maj Gen AGL Haruna: Confirmed as GOC 7 Division/Commander Sector 1 JTF North East Operation Hadin Kai
Maj Gen IA Ajose: Confirmed as GOC 8 Division/Commander Sector 2 JTF North West Operation Fasan Yanma

Principal Staff Officers:

Maj Gen LA Fejokwu: Appointed Chief of Administration (Army)
Maj Gen GU Chibuisi: Appointed Chief of Civil Military Affairs
Maj Gen AS Ndalolo: Appointed Chief of Training (Army)
Maj Gen OS Abai: Appointed Chief of Transformation and Innovation
Maj Gen JH Abdussalam: Appointed Chief of Special Services and Programmes

Maj Gen GM Mutkut: Appointed Force Commander, Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF)
Maj Gen GO Adeshina: Appointed Director General, Nigerian Army Heritage and Future Centre
