Nollywood actress Regina Daniels revealed that her family, including her mother, initially opposed her marriage to billionaire Ned Nwoko due to their 38-year age gap.
In an Instagram live conversation, Regina shared that she met Ned during a sightseeing trip with one of her ex-boyfriends. “The moral of the story is that your boyfriend shouldn’t stop you from meeting your husband,” she joked.
Contrary to rumors, Regina clarified that her mother didn’t force her into the marriage. Instead, her entire family was against it. “When I started with my husband, I forgot I had boyfriends – about 20,” she said, emphasizing that she made her own choice.
Regina and Ned, a 62-year-old Delta senator, married in 2019 and have two children together. She emphasized her happiness in the marriage, dismissing concerns about their significant age difference.
