Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has given the green light for the payment of N70,000 as the new national minimum wage for FCT administration staff. This update was shared by FCT’s Acting Head of Civil Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, through her Press Secretary, Ewhenji Anthony Odey .
The approval includes a three-month arrears payment for all staff, starting from November 2024. This move demonstrates Minister Wike’s commitment to staff welfare, aiming to boost morale and encourage staff support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda .
