Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has announced a reward of N5m and a bungalow for Kayode Adewale, an award-winning Math teacher who was recently shortlisted for the $1 million Global Teacher Prize. Adewale, who teaches at Imagbon/Imaka Comprehensive High School, Imagbon, Ogun State, was named among the top 50 finalists for the prestigious prize.

Adewale’s innovative teaching methods, which include blending technology with local language, have earned him local and international acclaim. As Ogun State Education Ambassador, he will continue to inspire excellence in education.

The reward is a testament to the Ogun State Government’s commitment to fostering excellence in education.
