The Osun State Police Command has arrested seven individuals, including two mortuary attendants, for allegedly selling human parts and water used to bathe corpses. Johnson Daniel, 43, and Adetunji Okunade, 42, were identified as the mortuary attendants involved in the illicit activities.
According to Police Public Relations Officer Emmanuel Giwa-Alade, the suspects were arrested after a tip from a concerned individual revealed Daniel’s involvement in selling human remains to native doctors. Further investigation uncovered that Daniel and Okunade conspired to sell water used in bathing corpses to interested parties.
A search of the suspects’ residences yielded fragments of substances suspected to be human skulls, a female pant, and a notebook with ritual instructions.

In a separate incident, three individuals were arrested for promoting the Yoruba Nation and urging people to renounce their allegiance to Nigeria.
