In a recent post, Obi lamented the growing insecurity that has gripped various parts of the country, stating that no one is spared from the escalating dangers.

    Obi highlighted how this insecurity affects critical aspects of the nation, with essential workers often becoming victims of kidnappings or killings. He emphasized the urgent need for decisive action to address the worsening security situation. “The frequent occurrence of crimes, especially kidnapping, in the country today is worrisome and it’s causing a lot of apprehension in the land,” Obi wrote.

    The former Anambra State governor noted that every Nigerian feels the heat of insecurity, which has continued to affect every aspect of the nation. He cited examples of farmers being chased out of their farmlands, and critical workers in the health and educational sectors being kidnapped or killed.

    Obi appealed to the government to employ every security arsenal at its disposal to end this menace and ensure the safe rescue of those in captivity. He also urged those engaging in terrorizing the Nigerian people to have a change of heart and desist from their ways.
