The price of petrol is set to increase as depot owners have raised the price to N950/litre, representing a 4.74% increase. This development follows the recent surge in crude oil prices, including Nigeria’s Bonny Light, which rose to $80 per barrel this week from $73 per barrel last week.
Several major depots, including Swift, Wosbab, Sahara, and Shellplux, have adjusted their loading prices accordingly. Specifically, Swift Depot increased its price to N950/litre from N907/litre, while Wosbab Depot raised its price to N950/litre from N909/litre. Sahara Depot also increased its price to N950/litre from N910/litre, and Shellplux raised its loading price to N960/litre from N908/litre.
