    Speed Darlington, the controversial rapper, has finally been granted bail after spending nearly a month in police custody. His lawyer, Stanley Alieke, shared the update on Instagram, stating that the court has granted bail to the rapper .

    Speed Darlington’s troubles began on November 27 when he was arrested during a performance in Owerri, Imo State. His arrest was reportedly linked to an alleged verbal attack on Afrofusion star Burna Boy. However, another lawyer representing Darlington, Deji Adeyanju, alleged that Burna Boy was behind the rapper’s arrest.

    The controversy surrounding Speed Darlington’s comments started when he criticized Burna Boy for his association with U.S. rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is facing allegations of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Despite the backlash, Speed Darlington vowed to continue speaking out against Burna Boy.

    Prior to the bail grant, Adeyanju had revealed that the rapper would either be arraigned or released within 48 hours. With the bail grant, Speed Darlington has regained his freedom, and his fans are eagerly looking forward to his return to the music scene.
