Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere closes OPM free schools in Northern Nigeria after alarming WhatsApp message

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, founder of Omega Power Ministries, has announced the temporary closure of the ministry’s free schools in Northern Nigeria following a WhatsApp message about child abductions in Nasarawa State.

Popular clergyman and founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has shared a WhatsApp message he received amid growing insecurity concerns. In a Facebook post, the clergyman addressed the message sent to him regarding his school in Nasarawa State.

According to the sender, kidnappers staying in a hotel abducted children from Nasarawa State. Following the reports, Muslim parents arrived barefoot to pick up their children from school. As a result, pupils were sent home and urged to resume on Monday if the situation is deemed safe.

In his post, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere expressed heartbreak over the situation and announced that OPM’s free schools in Northern Nigeria would close temporarily until it is safe to reopen.
