Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin Denies Deceiving Nigerians with NAFDAC’s Name

The Senior Prophet of Christ MercyLand Ministry, Jeremiah Fufeyin, has denied using the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) name to deceive Nigerians. In a statement issued by the church’s media outfit, MercyLand Television Deliverance Ministry, Fufeyin faulted a media report alleging that NAFDAC was investigating his “miracle water and soap.”

The statement emphasized that the church is law-abiding and recognizes the extant laws of the land, including the NAFDAC Act. It clarified that the church uses spiritual items to express religious beliefs, as guaranteed by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Fufeyin’s church asserted that it has never deceived the public or used NAFDAC’s name to sell consumable items. The statement also revealed that the church is aware of a pending petition against it and has sued the complainant, Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, for sundry allegations.

Additionally, the church received a letter from NAFDAC’s Asaba Office inviting the Spiritual head to discuss the church’s miracle and healing spiritual items.
