Lere Olayinka, aide to Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has expressed disappointment over comments made by former Governor of Rivers state, Dr Peter Odili. Olayinka stated that Odili’s comments were not only disappointing but also showed a loss of statesmanship, reducing himself to a ridiculous level of partisanship.
According to Olayinka, Odili’s comments would be addressed by Wike in due course. This development comes after Odili claimed that Rivers governor, Siminalayi Fubara, prevented Wike from turning the state into a private estate. Odili made these comments at a Christmas ballad organized in honor of Governor Fubara and his family.
