Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reiterated his administration’s commitment to investing in critical infrastructure to drive economic prosperity in Lagos State. During the commissioning of Demurin/Agidi Roads and Church Street in Agboyi-Ketu and Kosofe areas, Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of delivering link roads to enhance economic activities.

The governor charged residents to take ownership of government facilities, ensuring their proper use and safeguarding them against vandalism and indiscriminate dumping of refuse. He urged residents to work together to preserve infrastructure for current and future generations.

The Demurin-Agidi Road project has significantly enhanced road connectivity, improved traffic flow, reduced travel time, and eliminated perennial flooding issues. This achievement underscores the administration’s commitment to intermodal transportation, positively impacting the health and socio-economic well-being of residents.

Sanwo-Olu’s administration remains committed to delivering strategic link roads in line with the State Transport Master Plan and the THEMES+ Agenda. The rehabilitation of Demurin Road, Agidi Road, and Church Street has revitalized socio-economic activities for thousands of residents and business owners.
