AIG Fayoade reminded the officers that their promotion is a call to duty, urging them to work harder to secure the country. He emphasized the importance of eschewing corruption and treating members of the public with kindness and respect.
The promotion ceremony was significant, as it marked a record-breaking promotion of over 2,000 policemen from the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
