A Nigerian medical doctor, Rose Agwu, is seeking help after soldiers raided her home in Abia State, arresting her 15-year-old brother and sister.
The soldiers broke into her home at 5am on Friday, taking her siblings away without giving any reason or information about their whereabouts. Dr. Agwu’s 72-year-old father was left behind.
She has taken to social media to appeal for help, stating that her siblings’ rights are being violated and calling on the government to intervene and secure their release.
The incident comes after five soldiers were killed in the area on Thursday, and Dr. Agwu is urging the authorities to provide a logical reason for her siblings’ arrest and ensure their safe return home.
