Newly invited Super Eagles defender Gabriel Osho showcased his understanding of the Yoruba language during an interview with NFF Media.

• In response to questions at the Super Eagles camp, he greeted fans with “Bawo Ni guys,” meaning “How are you guys?” in English.

• Gabriel Osho was born in Reading, United Kingdom, to Nigerian parents originally from Lagos.

• The center-back was first invited to the Super Eagles camp in March by former coach Finidi George but had to withdraw due to injury and other issues.

• He expressed his understanding of the demands of playing for the Super Eagles, recognizing the wealth of talent within the national team.

• Osho mentioned that he had been waiting for another call-up and is grateful to God for this opportunity.

• He pledged to work hard, fully aware of the expectations from fans ahead of the upcoming matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
