Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu in his quest to transform Nigeria for the better. Oyebanji emphasized that Tinubu’s reforms are already yielding positive results and that the president genuinely wants the best for Nigerians .
The governor also encouraged Nigerians to refrain from making negative comments about the country, as it’s on the path to economic recovery and prosperity. He believes that with a positive mindset and collective support, Nigeria can overcome its challenges.
Oyebanji, who spoke at the 2025 Inter-faith Thanksgiving Service in Ado Ekiti, expressed gratitude to God for giving Nigeria a courageous leader like Tinubu. He also restated his commitment to working tirelessly for the development and prosperity of Ekiti State.
Notably, Oyebanji attributed the recent increase in federal allocations to the state to Tinubu’s magnanimity, which has enabled the state to increase salaries, provide welfare packages, and execute projects. He also urged Ekiti indigenes to emulate the likes of Chiefs Afe Babalola and Wole Olanipekun in supporting the state government .
