The economy’s tough times have led to 14,179 Retirement Savings Account holders who lost their jobs this year withdrawing 25% of their pension savings in H1’24 to support themselves and their families. It’s a challenging situation for many individuals facing financial strains due to job losses.

The PenCom report for Q2’24 indicates that RSA holders withdrew N23.4 billion during the period.
