The Edo State Government has declared over 200 vehicles missing

          Over 200 government vehicles have gone missing in Edo State, according to Mr. Kelly Okungbowa, Chairman of the Committee set up by Governor Monday Okpebholo to recover government vehicles. In a surprising twist, the committee has already recovered three vehicles, including a Hilux van and two Toyota Hiace buses, from a private residence in Benin within 24 hours of their inauguration .

          The recovered vehicles also contained some palliatives, including bags of garri and rice, meant for distribution to Edo people. Okungbowa has appealed to the public for more information, promising handsome rewards for whistleblowers with correct and verifiable information. The committee is determined to recover all missing government vehicles in private hands, emphasizing that these vehicles are public property and not for individual use.
