    Deputy Comptroller Mohamed Shuaibu attributed the success to enhanced patrols, surveillance, and intelligence gathering along border areas. He emphasized the negative impacts of smuggling and illegal migration, including economic destabilization, insecurity, and exploitation of vulnerable populations.
